We collect only what is needed to generate name recommendations: your baby's gender preference, birth date/time/city (only if you enable BaZi or Wuge analysis), language preferences, meaning preferences, and a randomly generated session token stored in your browser. We do not collect your name, email, or any contact information unless you contact us directly.
Your information is used solely to generate name recommendations and, if you choose to share a family link, to enable family voting and comments. Birth data is used only for BaZi/Wuge calculations and is deleted when your session expires (90 days from last activity).
We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising trackers. We do not share your information with third parties except the service providers necessary to run the product: Supabase (database), Google Cloud (text-to-speech audio), Vercel (hosting), and Stripe (if you make a voluntary contribution).
When you generate a family sharing link, the name pairs in your shortlist become visible to anyone with the link. Guest visitors do not need an account. Their votes and comments are associated with an anonymous session token — no personal information is collected from guests.
Session data is retained for 90 days from your last activity, then permanently deleted. Family sharing link data is deleted when the associated session is deleted or when the link expires (30 days), whichever comes first. Server logs are retained for 30 days.
You can delete your session data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. For EU/UK users: you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. This service is intended for use by adults. The baby whose name is being chosen is not a user of the service — birth data is provided by an adult parent for name analysis purposes only.
